Two-division ONE world champion believes it would be a big mistake for Fabricio Andrade to look past Jonathan Haggerty when the two titleholders meet for the vacant ONE kickboxing crown on November 3.

Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, ONE Fight Night 16 will feature an epic champion vs. champion showdown as reigning bantamweight MMA champion Fabricio Andrade is set to square off with the division’s Muay Thai world titleholder Jonathan Haggerty in a can’t-miss main event showdown.

The winner will emerge as the promotion’s newest dual-world champion, something Russian juggernaut Anatoly Malykhin knows a thing or two about. Sharing his thoughts on the highly-anticipated clash, ‘Sladkiy’ had nothing but positive things to say about British Muay Thai star Jonathan Haggerty:

"Clearly, no one is writing Haggerty off. He is the champion in this weight class [in Muay Thai]. Haggerty is a tough fighter with good timing and is well-trained."

Haggerty will go into the bout still riding a wave of momentum following his shocking first-round knockout of Nong-O Hama at ONE Fight Night 9 in April. That victory put ‘The General’ on a four-fight win streak, but with Fabricio Andrade riding into The Land of Smiles with a 6-0 record under the ONE banner, something’s got to give.

Andrade will make his return to the Circle nine months removed from his impressive fourth-round TKO against John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker to claim the bantamweight MMA world title and boost his overall finish rate to an incredible 83%.

Will ‘Wonder Boy’ add another big name to his hit list at ONE Fight Night 16, or will Jonathan Haggerty leave the Mecca of Muay Thai with not one but two world titles around his waist?

Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can catch all the action at ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade on Prime Video live in U.S. primetime on November 3.
