ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong expects the entire Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, to be on their feet when ONE Championship megastars onathan Haggerty and Superlek Kiatmoo9 take center stage. The world's largest martial arts organization has definitely brought out the big guns for its United States return at ONE 168 this coming September 6.

While the still-developing card already has some confirmed bangers, it's the champion vs. champion tiff between 'The Kicking Machine' and 'The General' that perhaps garners the most interest.

In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, Sityodtong explained why these two world-class strikers will put on a show that American fans have yet to see before:

"It's gonna be an exciting fight and American fans are gonna go nuts. This is the highest level of striking on the planet between Superlek and Haggerty. It literally doesn't get better than that in terms of elite-level technical abilities, but also power and precision."

On paper, Superlek and Haggerty's mega-fight could really top some of the best performances from the promotion's blockbuster US debut at ONE Fight Night 10 last year.

For starters, the reigning flyweight kickboxing world champion has laid waste to some of the biggest names in the promotion, including Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Takeru Segawa.

Superlek would love to become a two-sport and two-division world champion by unseating Haggerty from his bantamweight Muay Thai throne. The feisty Brit, however, has also been knocking foes out left and right, finishing the likes of Nong-O Hama, Fabricio Andrade, and Felipe Lobo.

Chatri Sityodtong says Superlek's fight IQ will be his edge against Jonathan Haggerty

Jonathan Haggerty has certainly been on a roll as of late and has found a home at 145 pounds.

While it's going to be Superlek's first foray at bantamweight, Sityodtong said fans shouldn't count him out since his cerebral mind is just as lethal as his deadly kicks.

The ONE head honcho added:

"Best striker full stop. Yeah, Superlek is definitely there. He is definitely pound-for-pound one of the very best strikers on the planet, in any martial art. His fight IQ is insane."
