Exclusive: Ilia Topuria predicts possible outcomes for Conor McGregor's return at UFC 303 - "Maybe you see a knockout in 15 seconds"

Ilia Topuria recently weighed in on Conor McGregor's upcoming return to the octagon at UFC 303, which is scheduled to take place on June 29. He noted that fans could see a vintage performance from the Irishman, who will definitely have his hands full against Michael Chandler.

The former two division champion will be competing for the first time since suffering his unfortunate injury during his bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA's Andrew Whitelaw, the reigning featherweight champion shared his thoughts on what he believes will transpire at UFC 303. Topuria mentioned that he doesn't know what to expect from McGregor, but noted that he is certain fans will witness an incredible moment. He said:

"[Michael] Chandler is a very tough fighter too but I don't know. Conor [McGregor], he's something special. You never know. When he [McGregor] goes inside the cage, you never know. Maybe you see a knockout in 15 seconds or 10 seconds. Or maybe you see how he broke his leg or how someone knocks him out. Something you always know is that you're gonna see something spectacular in the fight."

Ilia Topuria reacts to Bobby Green vs. Paddy Pimblett announcement

Ilia Topuria recently reacted to the announcement that Paddy Pimblett will be fighting Bobby Green at UFC 304 on July 27.

'El Matador' has had his issues with Pimblett and like McGregor, has shared his thoughts on what could transpire in a bout. During the aforementioned exclusive interview, Topuria shared his thoughts on Pimblett's fighting style and how he matches up with Green. He said:

"For me, you know, he's [Pimblett] not a stable fighter. But you never know about Paddy Pimblett, you know because sometimes you see in fights that he sucks, sometimes he does something regular...I don't know [how the fight with Green goes] to be honest."
