Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade has reached the upper echelon of mixed martial arts and is today one of the best fighters in the world. But he didn’t just do it for himself.

The 26-year-old Brazilian phenom fights for a better life for his family, most especially his mom, whom he promised to himself he would buy a brand new house for.

Due to Andrade’s immense success, he was finally able to achieve that goal in a recent trip back to Fortaleza.

Speaking to The MMA Superfan in an interview, Andrade shared his experience of buying his mom a new home. ‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“I always had the vision in my head that I want to do things like that, like buying her a house. I have more things that I want to do in the future that have been in my head the whole time, but I didn't really like to put an expired date for when I was going to do that, you know.
“The last time I was in Brazil, I was still not sure if I was going to be able to do that. But I started to look, think, and see what I could do, and then it came up that I was able to buy her house at that time. So I had the thing on the back of my head but I just like to let things flow the way it is going and then eventually it got to a point that I could do that, you know, and of course that makes me very happy, not just for being able to do that, but to see the difference in her life and my family’s life as well.”
