UFC welterweight contender Khamzat Chimaev recently gave his prediction for the upcoming rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, the Swede-born Chechen suggested that if Adesanya starts training in wrestling, he would be able to defeat Pereira at UFC 287.

"I don't think so. If Israel trains just in wrestling in his training camp, he would beat him easy ...That guy [Alex Pereira] has zero wrestling."

Check out Khamzat Chimaev's prediction for the upcoming middleweight championship bout below:

Adesanya and Pereira are set to face off for the middleweight title at UFC 287. In their previous encounter, Adesanya was in control of the fight, but Pereira managed to secure a TKO victory in the final round, becoming the new middleweight champion.

Interestingly, before their UFC fight, Adesanya and Pereira fought twice in kickboxing, with the Brazilian winning on both occasions. This makes the upcoming rematch even more intriguing, as Adesanya will be looking to finally secure a victory over Pereira.

Chimaev's prediction adds another layer of excitement to the fight, as he is known for his dominant wrestling skills. If Adesanya takes Chimaev's advice and starts incorporating wrestling into his training camp, it could potentially give him an edge over Pereira in the rematch.

'The Last Stylebender' will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back from his previous loss to Pereira and prove that he is still the best middleweight fighter in the UFC. The stage is set for an epic rematch between two of the top fighters in the sport, and fans can't wait to see who will come out on top.
