Muay Thai standout Liam Nolan used to make a living as a model before finding his calling as a professional fighter.

On November 3, Nolan will make his first appearance of 2023 as he is set to run back his July 2022 clash with Sinsamut Klinmee. In their first meeting, Nolan suffered a second-round knockout. Since then, ‘Lethal’ has fought his way back into the win column, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Eddie Abasolo. Next, he’ll look to even the score with Sinsamut and make it two in a row inside the Circle.

Before making his long-awaited return, Liam Nolan sat down with ONE Championship to discuss his journey as a mixed martial artist and the surprising career he had before punching people in the face for a living:

“In fact, I even did a few modeling jobs,” Nolan revealed. “I used to [model for] Ted Baker and brands like that. That was actually quite good money compared to [construction] sites. I used to give my mom the money to help out. The money wasn’t everything, but I used to do whatever I could to help back then.”

Nolan will look to regain some momentum at ONE Fight Night 16, but that will be much easier said than done as he squares off with a fighter who already has three impressive knockouts under his belt in ONE Championship. Making his promotional debut at ONE’s 10th-anniversary showcase ONE X, Sinsamut Klinmee has earned highlight-reel-worthy finishes against Nieky Holzken, Victor Teixeira, and, of course, Liam Nolan.

Will Klinmee add another impressive finish to his resume, or will Liam Nolan even the series and potentially set the stage for a showdown with the division’s reigning titleholder, Regian Eersel?

Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can catch all the action at ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade on Prime Video live in U.S. primetime on November 3.
