Over a decade ago, Fabricio Andrade didn’t know what his true calling in life was. When he fell in love with martial arts, everything changed, and it presented an unlimited amount of possibilities.

Ahead of his ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title fight against Jonathan Haggerty, Andrade appeared on The MMA Superfan’s YouTube channel for an exclusive interview and reflected on his professional career so far.

According to the reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world champion, martial arts gave him opportunities that he himself couldn’t know were possible.

‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“Martial arts is everything for me. It’s all that I’ve been doing since I was 13. It gave me the light, the way of living for me and changing my life. It’s still changing my life until now, giving me the opportunities that I’ll probably never have the opportunity to get.”

Andrade is also grateful for the success that he is enjoying from the sport he loves, and he added:

“It gave me the name, it’s who I am. Martial arts is who I am. I am here today because of martial arts, it’s part of my life.”

The Tiger Muay Thai representative is now ready for another opportunity to etch his name in ONE Championship, as he has the chance to become a two-sport world champion if he gets the job done against ‘The General', who is also expected to bring his A-game in their championship bout.

Andrade will lean on the momentum he currently has, with an unbeaten record of six wins and one no-contest result, including four TKO/KO finishes under the world’s largest martial arts organization.

ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade on Prime Video will air live on US Primetime on November 3, free of charge for existing Prime Video subscribers in North America.
