Widely regarded MMA GOAT Jon Jones will put his heavyweight title on the line against former champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 on November 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Ever since the bout was announced, there have been rumblings in the MMA circuit about a potential double retirement regardless of who emerges the victor.

Promotional legend and former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos believes there will be Russian domination in the division if Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic retire. According to dos Santos, Russian powerhouse Sergei Pavlovich is next in line to reign supreme at heavyweight.

During a segment of MMA Fighting's Trocação Franca podcast, 'Cigano' lauded Pavlovich's fighting ability:

"I had the opportunity to train with him [Pavlovich], and he’s really tough, brother. He’ll scare a lot of people in there. He’ll be a star, he’ll dominate this division soon, and he’s only getting better." [h/t: MMA Fighting]

He added:

"I had the personal experience of training and whatnot, to know how hard it is to train with Pavlovich, and that’s why I’m saying this. He’s super tough, you know?"

Sergei Pavlovich currently sits at the No.2 spot on the heavyweight ladder and has been undefeated in the last four years. Furthermore, all six of his UFC wins have come via first-round knockouts, with his victims including popular names such as Tai Tuivasa, Curtis Blaydes, and Derrick Lewis.
