Liam Harrison was recently seen shredding pads during a training session with Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9, the reigning Glory Kickboxing featherweight world champion.

Despite being 38 years old, Harrison hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down when it comes to training. As a result, ‘Hitman’ continues to work with world-class strikers to evolve as a fighter.

ONE Championship recently posted a video on Instagram of the Leeds native training with Petchpanomrung. The caption reads:

“Wouldn’t want to eat any shots from Liam Harrison 😨 @liambadco”

Liam Harrison made his ONE Championship debut in December 2018 after winning multiple Muay Thai world titles. He started in the ONE featherweight division, leading to two losses against Petchmorakot Petchyindee and Rodlek PK Saenchai.

As a result, Harrison decided to shake things up and move down to bantamweight. ‘Hitman’ quickly proved the new division suited him better, leading to back-to-back first-round knockout wins against Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK Saenchai.

Following his legendary war against Muanghtai, Harrison earned a world title shot against then-ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O at ONE on Prime Video 1. The Thai superstar utilized his devastating leg kicks and stopped Harrison in the first round after injuring his knee.

Harrison was later told he needed surgery to recover from the damage caused by Nong-O. Since then, he’s been working through a brutal recovery process to make a highly anticipated return to the circle.

Luckily, ‘Hitman’ has no plans on retiring before making another run for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. The 38-year-old is expected to fight again in early 2024.
