Sathish, Savera lead in TSD Rally

Kochi - The husband-wife team of Sathish Gopalkrishnan and Savera D’Souza took the honours in Leg-1 with a penalty of 23 seconds in the Mahindra Adventure Spice Cup TSD Rally here Friday.

In second place were K.P. Karthick Maruthi and navigator Shankar Anand with 26 seconds, while tied in third spot with 28 seconds penalty were the pairs Sachin Singh-Chandrasekar and T. Shashi Kumar-Prakash, who were also competing in the Car Open class while the other top three pairs were in the SUV Open category.

Such was the tight competition that the top nine pairs in the overall classifications were separated by just 51 seconds.
