A video of Sexyy Red's high school fight has been making the rounds on social media. The resurfaced clip first went viral in 2023, and gained traction again after it was shared on the Instagram account @floridapromouncut on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
The footage shows the SkeeYee singer (in a pink tracksuit) approaching another student (in a black and red jacket) with her back turned to the camera, starting a fight. As the two duel, their classmates cheer them on. This prompts a treacher to intervene and break the girls apart.
At one point, the teacher requests, "Someone go get the security." Before the video ends, Sexyy Red has a grasp on her other girl's hair and manages to land a couple of blows.

When the 26-year-old singer caught wind of the clip going viral, she took to her official X account to repost a tweet by @__plugtalk__ with the resurfaced video and the comment confirming the fight.
"Been on Det!!!!" the singer wrote.
The footage comes a few weeks after Sexyy Red, real name Janae Nierah Wherry, was barred from speaking at a local high school because she smelled of weed.
On April 3, 2024, the songstress shared several IG stories, showing her heading to high school in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
The stories showed students surrounding the Hood Rats singer's car as she popped out of the sunroof and began twerking. However, Red got on her IG explaining she was not allowed inside the high school because she smelled of weed.
"Look, so this school, I came up here, got cute, tried to talk to the kids give ’em the word of the day and they gonna put me off tell me I smell like weed," she stated before cursing at the school authorities who stopped her.
Back in July 2023, Sexyy Red garnered backlash after a similar appearance led to hundreds of students jumping off bleachers and rushing to meet the Pound Town singer.
At the time, fans criticized her music as inappropriate for students and should not be performed at a high school.
However, Red later clarified that she was not there to perform but rather because it was prom week. Recalling the time she needed help with her "prom stuff," she explained she went to give "the girls bundles and boys money for haircut(s)."
Last September, a brawl broke out during one of Sexyy Red's shows. The singer was performing SkeeYee when two women began fighting, which grew with multiple people joining in. Meanwhile, the singer didn't appear fazed and continued with her performance.
