“I was being used” — Love Is Blind’s Clay Gravesande dispels rumors that he is dating Celina Powell

Clay Gravesande has been trending in the headlines for some time after Celina Powell shared a video of the two of them holding each other in bed. While it led to criticism from Clay's mother Margarita and also speculations that the duo were in a relationship, Clay decided to clear the air on the matter.

During his appearance on New Rory & Mal, Clay confirmed that he and Celina were not dating.

"I was being used. She got me, she won," he said.

He continued:

"I went to Belize with another female actually, and then I came back and I was gonna actually shoot some content with Celina. It was really kind of innocent, bro."

Clay Gravesande added that he met Celina last week and she was the one who requested him to do a TikTok video with her. However, Gravesande had no idea that she would share the video online and he addressed the reactions by saying:

"I f*cked up essentially with being on scene with her. I think people are mad that I'm close to her, but in terms of what I actually did, I did a couple of TikToks."

He stated that it was wrong on his side to be a part of the video and that others should try to avoid doing the same since it could lead to wrong perceptions. He revealed that he has unfollowed Celina and they are not on talking terms.

In March 2024, Clay Gravesande appeared on Love Is Blind: The Reunion, where he addressed the moment he rejected Amber Desiree Smith. He described Amber as someone who made him feel like he was the best and despite that, he considered himself unworthy of getting married to her. He added:

"She's honestly the love of my life, and I did make a mistake going to the altar and saying no."

Amber has previously stated that she loved Clay and that although he rejected her, she was never affected by the decision. She even got emotional after hearing Clay's words and said:

"Knowing there's nothing more I could've done and hearing him say it was a mistake, it's like what am I supposed to do with that information?"
