The Voice season 25 episode 20: Release date and time, what to expect, and more

Part 1 of the finale of The Voice season 25, i.e., episode 20, will be released on Monday, May 20, on NBC, at 8 p.m. ET. Season 25 kicked off on February 26 with 40 contestants at its helm, mentored by four judges, namely Reba McEntire, Dan+ Shay, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper.

Now, almost three months later, the show has five finalists, two from Reba's team and one from each of the other judges' teams. The finalists are Bryan Olesen, Josh Sanders, Asher HaVon, Nathan Chester, and Karen Waldrup.

The finale episode will see performances from the former contestants of the seasons, from its four mentors, and an array of popular American artists brought together, especially for The Voice finale.


When will the finale episodes of The Voice season 25 be released and where to stream it?

The finale episode of The Voice season 25 is divided into two parts, with the first part being released on Monday, May 20, on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. The other will be released on Tuesday, May 21, on NBC at 9 p.m. ET. Both parts will be televised live.

Folks who won't be able to catch The Voice season 25 finale live can catch episode 20 on Peacock on the next day of its release. A Peacock subscription costs $5.99 per month for a version with ads and $12 for a no-ads version.

Voices that are to grace The Voice season 25 finale

Apart from the performances from the mentors, The Voice episode 20 is also to see artists such as the country music legend Keith Urban, who will be performing alongside the U.S. Army Field Band, the Rock Band duo The Black Keys, the rapper and songwriter Jelly Roll, and the Academy Award nominee Kate Hudson.

Apart from them, country singer/songwriter Lainey Wilson, Muni Long, country artist Thomas Rhett, The Voice season 23 winner Gina Miles, and Austin singer Blake Shelton will also be giving guest performances on the finale episode.

The mentor alumni from the previous seasons of The Voice will also be giving performances on episode 20. They include Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.


What happened in the semi-finals of episode 19 of The Voice season 25

Out of the 12 contestants who made it to the semi-finals, only five got through, as Bryan Olesen was revived from the bottom five and Serenity Arce, Tae Lewis, Madison Curbelo, and Maddi Jane were sent home.

Josh Sanders from Reba's team sang White Horse by Chris Stapleton and was saved by a public vote. Nathan Chester followed with another country song by Otis Redding, Try a Little Tenderness.

Karen Waldrup from Dan+Shay also sang the country song Stay by the musical duo Sugarland and landed herself in the finals. Asher HaVon from Team Reba went with Beyoncé's Irreplaceable and also got enough votes to go straight to the finals.

Bryan Olesen was among the bottom five; he sang Against All Odds by Phil Collins in the first round and went with Coldplay's Viva La Vida for the bottom five round, which gave him an instant save.


The winner of The Voice season 25 will be decided according to the votes given by American citizens.
