Is Torrey Devitto married? Chicago Med alum reveals pregnancy news on Instagram

Torrey Devitto, best known for her character as Dr. Natalie Manning in NBC’s drama series Chicago Med, is going to be a mom. The actress and former fashion model shared the news via an Instagram post on Sunday, May 19.

Devitto was showing off her baby bump in the latest photo she shared of herself and her director fiancee, Jared LaPine.

While the Chicago Med star is not currently married, she has been engaged to LaPine since September 2023. Devitto shared the news of their engagement on a 2023 Instagram post of her rocking her engagement ring, with LaPine hugging her from the back.

In said Instagram post, Torrey Devitto shared a couple of snaps of her gazing into her fiancee’s eyes while rocking a white dress and with one hand cradling her baby bump. The actress shared her pregnancy news along with the baby’s gender in the caption. She simply wrote:

“Baby girl is arriving this November.”

The happy mom and dad-to-be were met with well-wishers in the comments section following their announcement.

Fellow Chicago Med alum, Mekia Cox, shared her excitement over the former co-star’s upcoming baby with a comment saying, “Oh my GYAH!!!” Casey Tutton, who also starred alongside Devitto in the NBC drama, congratulated the actress in the comments.

I. Marlene King, creator and showrunner of Pretty Little Liars, where Devitto played the character of Melissa Hastings, also chimed in with a “Congratulations!!” comment.

Meanwhile, in a separate post, LaPine shared the news of their upcoming baby via his Instagram handle. He included their couple's photo cradling the baby bump as well as a sonogram photo of their baby girl. In the caption, he wrote:

“Welp, here’s to hoping she gets her mother’s genes (November 2024).”

As previously mentioned, Torrey Devitto and Jared LaPine got engaged in September 2013, and the actress shared a glimpse of how the K.C. Undercover director asked her to marry him. The actress shared in the caption of her 2023 Instagram post that her now-fiancee “got down on one knew” while they were “walking the back trails.”

Torrey Devitto was married to fellow actor Paul Wesley in 2011, whom she worked with in the 2008 American slasher film Killer Movie. Wesley is best known for playing Stefan Salvatore in the CW teen drama The Vampire Diaries and as James T. Kirk in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Devitto also temporarily joined The Vampire Diaries Seasons 3 and 4 while they were married. However, the two called it quits in 2013 after around two years of marriage.
