Part 3: Who is returning to WWE on Jan 2nd?

This is the third of six articles analysing six cryptic videos that have aired over the past few weeks, leading up to the return of a WWE superstar on January 2nd, 2012.

The analysis of ‘It Begins’ and ‘Second’ videos threw in names such as Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Vince McMahon and even Brock Lesnar. But at the end of the ‘Second’ video, we were introduced to a female character which leads to more unanswered questions. Let’s check out the third video for clues.

The boy said,

“Behold, the power will come with vengeance to render his anger with fury. The deception the weak have perpetrated will be castigated. The second day of 2012, the prophet will emerge and destroy the weak. It will be the end of the world as you know it.”

After ‘familiar force’ and ‘power’, the boy talks about ‘the prophet’. Since ‘the power will come with vengeance’, it is certainly a former WWE superstar who is willing to take revenge for something. ‘The weak’ may implicate a single person or a group of individuals who are rivals to the returning wrestler. However, what is more puzzling is the message at the end of the vignette – ‘look within’. What should we look within? Looking within the video doesn’t give a clue. The message conveyed in this video is similar to that of the last one. But, unlike the first two videos, the girl shares more screen-space with the boy in this one. This has added more mystery on who is likely to return.

Importantly, there are references in this message to the bible, Isaiah 35:4.

If Chris Jericho is the person referred to as ‘prophet’, it does make sense. He is ‘The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla’. He may be making his comeback on January 2. The kind of language being used is also of Jericho’s style. But what about the girl? Is it Stephanie? Maybe.

The phenom could be a viable choice but once again the girl plays spoilsport. Some say it is his wife Michelle McCool, which is absolutely ridiculous. It is certainly not her. And ‘Prophet’ does not suit the Undertaker’s character.

Mr. McMahon is another viable option. He is the ‘prophet’ of the WWE in every sense. The boy and girl in the vignette may be his children Shane and Stephanie. Vince is coming back to bring the WWE back to its old glory and revive it from its obsession with Twitter.

Batista may be coming back. He is returning to avenge his impostor Mason Ryan! ( Just kidding!) Yet again, the female link is missing.

Maybe the girl is just being used as a metaphor of sorts.
