This is an interesting list concerning the WWE Championship reigns. So far, there have been 42 champions so far.
The first champion was Buddy Rogers, who won the championship in 1963. The current champion is CM Punk, who is in his second reign. Overall, there have been 43 different official champions, with John Cena having the most reigns at ten.

It is really disappointing to see the likes of Batista, Big Show, Kane here. But it’s true, WWE championship is not that easy to keep. Now we know what kind of work CM Punk has to put in to keep hold of his title. So we should better show him some respect, eh?
