Axed from the Champions League squad that’s travelling to Steaua Bucharest and made to train with the U21s, Kevin De Bruyne is one unhappy Chelsea player.
Rumours are that Kevin is looking forward to the January transfer window, where if an opportunity arises, he wants to leave Chelsea, either on a loan deal or permanently, in order to pursue his World Cup dreams, according to reports in Metro.
The 22-year-old Belgian rejected another loan spell at Werder Bremen, while Champions league finalists Borussia Dortmund also wanted him.
Jose Mourinho had assured the 22-year old that he would be a part of his plans this season, but after being dropped from the squad that faced Tottenham over the weekend, a number of questions have arisen about the youngster’s future at the club.
Questions about his exclusion prompted Mourinho to cut short his pre-match press conference.
With Juan Mata back in Mourinho’s good books, and £30million signing Willian struggling to make a place for himself, things look really bleak for De Bruyne.
