As per the club website, Chelsea have confirmed that their midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne has left for Bundesliga club, Wolfsburg.
Kevin De Bruyne, 22, had only started for the team 5 times this seasons and had spent most of the time at the bench.
The Belgian midfielder was bought from Belgian Pro league club Genk in 2012. He was then sent to Werder Bremen on loan. He rejoined the club at the beginning of the current season.
De Bruyne made his competitive debut for the club in the very first game of the season against Hull City. But due to a pool of talented midfielders in the Chelsea squad, De Bruyne found it hard to break in to the top eleven permanently.
In 34 appearances for the club he scored 10 goals and created quite a few. He played his last match in Chelsea colours against Sunderland in the Capitol One Cup in which Chelsea lost.
The club thanked Kevin De Bruyne for his service and wished him luck at his new club.
