Italian giants AC Milan have confirmed the shock signing of enigmatic QPR attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt on loan for the remainder of the season, with a view to making his move permanent in the summer.
The former Fulham man was ecstatic, and is looking forward to his new adventure in Italy.
‘I am honoured to be able to play at the best club in the world. I have spoken with Seedorf and we are both happy. I am an attacker and I like to play behind the strikers’ Taarabt told Milan Channel on Thursday morning.
The Moroccan international spent the first half of the season at Craven Cottage with Fulham, however, was unable to make any notable impact for the relegation battling club under neither Martin Jol nor Rene Meulensteen.
The immensely skillful playmaker has been out of favour at championship side QPR, and manager Harry Redknapp has been reluctant fielding the player with doubts over his attitude and work ethic.
The 24-year could prove to be a shrewd acqusition for the Serie A outfit, who have been interested in the player previously, as new manager Clarence Seedorf aims to resurrect the struggling club.
