With the Elimination Chamber at the horizon, a major portion of the WWE universe has lost their faith in the WWE writers as the latter have been failing to produce the good when needed.
They’re lack of judgment while booking pay-per-views was more than evident from the Survivor Series to even the Royal Rumble. This casts a lot of doubts on the Elimination Chamber as well even though it has some intriguing clashes.
The Wyatt Family- Shield match stand on top of that list closely followed by the Elimination Chamber match involving John Cena, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Christian, Sheamus and Cesaro. Other mid card ones will complement the two as well giving a final match card which has all the potential to steal the headlines section.
However, these potential should be converted into something spectacular so let’s take a look at the potential twist that could do the job.
5- Brothers gone bad
The Rhodes brother has been on a big dip ever after they lost their tag title to the New Age Outlaws. Cody Rhodes and Goldust failed to found their consistent footing in the rotting mid card as just an ordinary tag team and now stares at a dilemma.
Only thing that the creative could do is to start a feud between the two brothers which could be culminated at an emotional encounter in WrestleMania.
Setting up them in match against Ryback and Curtis Axel hints on the above mentioned things happening as a match between these two teams found no other reason to be in the Elimination chamber.
It would also be a launching pad for the singles career of Cody Rhodes which is sure to flourish after the WrestleMania when the part timers go back to their den.
4- Roman Reigns’ much anticipated turn
Everyone out there knows that this one is coming sooner or later, and there won’t be a better stage to pull of this twist than the Elimination Chamber itself.
The Hounds of Justice has been booked in a six man tag match against the creepy crawly Wyatt Family. Mind games laid out by these mysterious beards will be a great catalyst to make the cracks within the Shield even bigger.
Reigns is bound to lock horn with Dean Ambrose at some point of the match since they’re friction has been the major sub plot of the whole storyline. Seth Rollins will be left in the limbo situation however since he is yet to show any signs of a complete turn towards anyone.
It will be interesting to see what Rollins will do but the sure thing is that Reigns is going to make headlines yet again, thus setting him up for a great WrestleMania.
3- Wyatts and their new prey
The chances of Shield getting a win over the Wyatt Family isn’t much high even after having Roman Reigns on their side. Wyatts will easily dispatch the hounds of justice by exploiting the internal problems which will leave Bray Wyatt without any more opponents. Who will he face at WrestleMania?
The answer already lies within since the new opponent for the Wyatt Family was the initial spark for this whole Shield- Wyatt showdown, which was John Cena.
If we go back into Royal Rumble, the Wyatt Family distracted him and cost Cena the title which still lies as an incomplete storyline.
After beating the Shield expect the Wyatt Family to act as another distraction for John Cena building up a match between Bray and him at Wrestle Mania.
2- Triple H involvement with Bryan
So far down the lane, the only authority conflict that Daniel Bryan has had was with the director of operations Kane. Triple H hasn’t been involved directly with Bryan till now but all that could be changed cum Elimination Chamber.
Probably a Kane distraction is going to force Bryan to confront Triple H or Triple H himself will come out and admit that he was the master brain behind all the bad things that happened to Bryan.
The Authority will be doing anything and everything in their power to make sure that Bryan doesn’t win the title which could include a screw job.
On the bright side, this could set up a potential showdown between Triple H and Bryan at WrestleMania rather than a much depleted Kane- Bryan match.
1- The unthinkable
Once Bryan will be taken out of the Title situation due to the Authority it leaves us with a question of who will win the title at the Elimination Chamber.
The first name tossed into the mix will be obviously that of John Cena as he wins almost every match he’s been put into but the chances of a Wyatt Family twist takes Cena out of the situation as well.
A match between Sheamus and Batista at WrestleMania is not anything worth waiting for and the same applies for Christian. Putting Cesaro into such big boots before him maturing will be another mistake that will screw up things.
This makes Orton the clear winner of the match much to the misery of the WWE universe. The buildup in which Orton was shown as an inferior Champion would thus turn out into a master plan which was designed to make Orton look a credible winner.
Thus the main event for WrestleMania would be a match between Batista and Randy Orton which needs nothing more to be said about.
