WWE Monday Night RAW recently made its debut on Netflix and had a few mentions of its competition, AEW. The red brand left no stone unturned to make it a memorable show.

It certainly seems that many fans enjoyed and are looking forward to what's next for RAW now that it's officially arrived on Netflix. However, even with all of the excitement surrounding their show, WWE couldn't resist making a few cheeky references to AEW.

We're here to showcase the references to All Elite Wrestling you might've missed from Monday Night's RAW Netflix premiere.

#3) CM Punk donned a controversial jacket from AEW All In backstage on WWE RAW

CM Punk was focused on his opponent on Monday Night RAW's main event, Seth Rollins. Many fans were excited about the prospect of seeing these two top stars settle their differences in the ring after months of anticipation.

WWE had been hyping the affair throughout the show and would showcase Punk getting ready for his upcoming match against Rollins backstage. However, the Second City Saint would be seen sporting a controversial jacket.

The jacket was similar to the one he was wearing in the infamous footage aired from AEW All In Wembley from his real-life altercation against Jack Perry.

#2) Michael Cole references AEW as "the other company"

Michael Cole returned to call the action over on Monday Night RAW on its Netflix debut. The veteran announcer would show great enthusiasm over all of the events occurring during the show and didn't hesitate to reference WWE's direct competition.

During CM Punk's entrance to the ring for his match against Seth Rollins, Cole would mention the Best in the World's decade-long absence from WWE. He would even acknowledge Punk's time in AEW from 2021 to 2023 by calling them "the other company."

#1) Seth Rollins suffered the same fate as Jon Moxley against CM Punk

CM Punk and Seth Rollins would finally get their hands on each other in a singles match on RAW's Netflix debut after months of build-up in their feud. The match was a heated affair as everyone expected but ultimately it was Punk who would come out on top.

However, it was the manner in which the Second City Saint would get his win against Rollins that raised a lot of eyebrows. The finish saw CM Punk hitting the GTS twice on the former World Heavyweight Champion to put him away for the three count. A fan would then point out this to be a reference to the same finish that happened in Punk's match against Jon Moxley at AEW All Out 2022.
