#4 Hopefully not true: Backstage AEW reaction to Kevin Owens' new offer made by WWE
WWE Superstar Kevin Owens has been making the rounds on social media lately, primarily since news broke that he has re-signed with Vince McMahon's company amid AEW speculation.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently reported that AEW talents knew from the beginning that the company wouldn't have 'realistically' matched the WWE's offer made to Owens, which is termed 'excellent' by everyone.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
We hope the said rumor is not true. By now, almost everyone is aware that Tony Khan can offer lucrative deals to wrestlers. If that weren't the case, stars like Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, to name a few, wouldn't have left WWE's big-money offer that easy.
As far as Owens' decision goes, he revealed that he chose to re-sign because of his family.
#3 Hopefully true: Brody King is confirmed to make appearances in AEW down the road
Not too long ago, Cassidy Hayes of BodySlam.net reported that Brody King had inked a deal with AEW. The rumors came on the heels of Malakai Black's recent vignette, where he teased his partner's arrival as the first member of his House of Black faction.
While neither Dave Meltzer nor Alvarez can confirm the credibility of these reports, the latter assured that King would at least be making appearances for Tony Khan's promotion down the road:
Alvarez: "I've not confirmed that he's signed, but I have pretty much confirmed that he is going to at least make appearances in AEW."
We hope this rumor turns out to be true. Though we hope AEW has brought Brody King into their fold, having him appear through a 'forbidden door' wouldn't be a bad idea either.
He and Malakai Black could become one of the most intimidating tag teams in AEW. It will be interesting to see when these rumors will materialize.
