2024 is almost at an end and with next year right around the corner, we're sure a lot of AEW stars will be looking forward to it. Tony Khan will surely try to book some athletes to establish themselves as a top star of his company.
Many stars will be looking to prove themselves as deserving of the top spot in the promotion. However, only a select few will get that big push next year. So, we're here to take a look at those stars Khan is likely to heavily push in 2025.
#3. Christian Cage could become the AEW World Champion in 2025
Christian Cage had a stellar year in 2024 as he feuded with his former best friend Adam Copeland and added to The Patriarchy's numbers as well. Cage is currently in the midst of a heated feud with Hook after the group attacked the latter and his father, Taz.

However, Christian Cage also has his eyes on Jon Moxley and his AEW World Title, as he currently possesses a contract that guarantees him a shot at the title anytime.
Tony Khan could give the veteran one of the biggest pushes next year and finally crown him as the top champion of the company after he cashes in his contract.
#3. Bobby Lashley could dominate in 2025 with The Hurt Syndicate
Bobby Lashley finally debuted in All Elite Wrestling this year and seems to be a huge threat going into 2025. The former WWE star has been putting the hurt on his rival, Swerve Strickland, and has been enforcing his will against anyone who stands in his way.
As The Hurt Syndicate looks to add to its numbers, we're sure that Bobby Lashley will continue to taste a lot of success in the company. We could even see him grab hold of a title in AEW with the help of his stable.
#1. Tony Khan could push Hook as the top youngster
Tony Khan was handed a goldmine of a star for AEW's future with Hook and it now remains to be seen how he handles him going into 2025. The Cold Hearted Handsome Devil is currently in the midst of a heated feud with Christian Cage and the rest of The Patriarchy.
However, Hook's contract will reportedly expire before the end of 2024, so Tony Khan would need to push the youngster to convince him to stay. A push with another title in the near future could convince Hook to stick with AEW and not jump ship to WWE or any other promotion.
