AEW Worlds End pay-per-view is just a couple of days away, and fans are hyped for the last All Elite event of the year. Worlds End 2023 was a mediocre event, and the show's main story was based on the MJF-Devil saga. Additionally, Samoa Joe won the AEW World Championship after defeating MJF.

This year's event has been shaping up to be excellent, as huge matchups have been announced. The entire month of Dynamite and Collision featured mostly Continental Classics Tournament matches. The league stage of the tournament ended with the recent edition of Dynamite. The semifinalists heading into Worlds End are Kyle Fletcher, Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Ricochet.

Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship against Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and Hangman Page. The event will have a total of five championship matches. The fifth title bout is the finals of the Continental Classic, the competitors of which are yet to be decided. The winner of the finals will be crowned as the Continental Champion.

With the pay-per-view just around the corner, let's look at some changes the promotion could make before the show.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3. Hangman Page could announce an ally by his side

The Cowboy hasn't trusted anyone since his intense rivalry with Swerve Strickland. His indignant and rude behavior has burnt many bridges in the last year. Interim EVP Christopher Daniels tried many times to stop the former AEW World Champion from causing chaos, which increased the animosity between the duo.

Recently, Daniels approached Hangman ahead of his world title match and claimed to offer his assistance, as all the participants have allies with them. Hangman Page has not yet accepted the offer but could announce him as an ally ahead of the event, which would be a huge threat to the others.

#2. Kyle O'Reilly to referee the match between MJF and Adam Cole

Kyle O'Reilly warned Adam Cole from going after MJF, as Maxwell has been troubling the former's friends. The Salt of the Earth defeated and seemingly injured Roderick Strong, one of Kyle's close friends.

However, when Cole didn't back down, Reilly decided to step up too. He and Adam faced each other for an opportunity to face MJF.

Adam Cole defeated his friend and will go to Worlds End to take on Maxwell for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. However, AEW could announce Kyle as a referee. At the end of the match, the latter could betray the Panama City Playboy and turn heel.

#1. AEW's Toni Storm might unknowingly face her arch-nemesis

'Timeless' Toni Storm was shocked to lose her AEW Women's World Championship at All In to Mariah May. She wasn't seen in the company from August until earlier this month. Also, when she returned, she came back as a rookie 'Rockstar' Toni Storm. Fans figured out that she has amnesia and has no memory of the past year.

The former AEW Women's World Champion has been wrestling as a newbie. Since arriving at the promotion, she has won on Rampage, Collision, ROH, and Dynamite. Thunder Rosa will challenge Mariah for the women's world title in a Tijuana Street Fight at the Worlds End pay-per-view. Toni has won multiple times in a short period, so she could be added to the bout.

It will be interesting to see what goes down at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
