#2 Should: Christian Cage can continue his remarkable AEW undefeated streak
AEW announced the signing of Christian Cage during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view back in March of this year.
Since his in-ring debut with the company, Christian Cage has been undefeated in traditional matches, not counting the battle royale at Double or Nothing. This remarkable unbeaten streak has led to him becoming the top contender for Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship at All Out.
Undefeated streaks such as those by Goldberg, Asuka and The Undertaker have been fondly remembered in the world of professional wrestling. The momentum of the crowd wanting to see the streak continue often creates an incredible atmosphere during the match where the streak is in jeopardy.
Though many fans expect Kenny Omega to retain the AEW World Championship at All Out, AEW could instead decide to have Christian Cage's undefeated streak continue.
Perhaps if Christian Cage remains undefeated in AEW for a few more months, his eventual defeat will be even more meaningful. Whoever defeats the future Hall of Famer will become an instant star with just one victory.
#1 Shouldn't: Hangman Page should be the wrestler to defeat Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship
AEW wrestler "Hangman" Adam Page is one of the most popular stars on the AEW roster right now.
As the summer stretched on and All Out drew closer, many assumed that Hangman Page would be the person to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at the show. But AEW went in a different direction, as indicated by the announcement of Cage's title shot.
Page can no longer challenge Omega for the AEW World Championship after The Elite defeated Hangman Page and The Dark Order on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite. Page was subsequently written off of AEW television when The Elite beat him down.
In reality, Hangman Page has taken a hiatus from AEW while his partner gives birth to their first child.
Despite his absence, many AEW fans are still firmly behind Hangman Page, and they want to see him dethrone Kenny Omega. The AEW audience is desperate to see Page finally win "the big one" and get his long-overdue redemption against Omega in the process.
Instead of Omega losing the title to Cage, AEW should wait until Hangman Page returns to television. When he does, Hangman should be the person to defeat Omega. Clearly, it's what the audience wants, after all.
