Bobby Lashley is rumored to join AEW. The All Mighty's contract with WWE recently expired, and just like many others, the Jacksonville-based company can be his next destination. Interestingly, fans are speculating that the 48-year-old will make his All Elite Wrestling debut at All In 2024.

If Bobby Lashley debuts at All In, he is guaranteed to achieve immense success in the promotion because it's their biggest annual show. The previous edition of the event attracted more than 70,000 fans. The Wembley Stadium spectacle is expected to be the company's biggest event so far and will be the catalyst for future storylines.

Bobby Lashley joining AEW will be helpful for him and the company. He is immensely experienced, strong, athletic, and respected by his peers. Furthermore, his in-ring ability and power are unmatched. He has worked as a solo competitor, as well as been part of factions. He has won numerous titles throughout his career. However, in WWE, he held the WWE Championship twice.

It makes perfect sense for Tony Khan to push The All Mighty as soon as he signs with the promotion. Moreover, he needs to be booked strongly, making him a legitimate threat to his opponents. Lashley too will profit from this partnership because his schedule will likely be lighter than his WWE days.

Khan may be willing to let Lashly win the AEW World Championship soon for the following reasons:

#3 Bobby Lashley wins titles everywhere he goes

Lashley has won numerous titles in two American professional wrestling juggernauts: WWE and TNA Wrestling. During his first run in the Triple-H-led company, he won the now-defunct ECW Championship twice. In his second stint, he won the United States Championship thrice the WWE Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship, twice each.

His accomplishments in TNA are equally impressive. He is a four-time TNA/Impact World Heavyweight Champion, a TNA King of the Mountain Champion, and a TNA X Division Champion.

Alongside WWE and TNA, AEW is the biggest American professional wrestling company. Bobby Lashley will certainly hold its world title soon.

#2 AEW needs a monster heel world champion

Most AEW World Champions have been babyfaces. Furthermore, the heel ones cannot be categorized under the "monster" moniker.

Bobby Lashley as AEW World Champion will be a breath of fresh air. His only purpose as the top titleholder can be total dominance, and this will make him one of the most feared stars on the roster. His title run can be made more interesting by pairing him with a manager or a faction.

Many prominent wrestlers of the promotion are sidelined due to injuries, and Lashley can very well be their lightning in a bottle.

#1 He is nearing 50

Lashley turned 48 this year and will be 50 in a couple of years. Most of his significant accomplishments took place later in his career. He is already a celebrated name in the wrestling business. Winning the AEW World Championship will be a major milestone for him and the promotion too will be fortunate to have such an experienced figure as its top titleholder.

The former WWE Champion is in immaculate in-ring shape, however, aging does reflect on a performer's skills. He might wrestle for a couple of years and hang up his boots. Therefore, AEW shouldn't take too long to make him its world champion.
