AEW Dynamite will present a special edition of Holiday Bash this Wednesday. Things are getting clearer as we approach the Worlds End pay-per-view. The event will likely be headlined by Jon Moxley, Orange Cassidy, Hangman Page, and Jay White for the AEW World Championship.
Before their clash on the last pay-per-view of the year, Moxley, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta will take on Cassidy, White, and Page on Dynamite. Also, Death Riders' latest victim, FTR, will speak on the show. Two massive Continental Classic bouts have also been announced. Will Ospreay and Darby Allin will clash in the Gold League while Beast Mortos and Shelton Benjamin will battle from the Blue League.
With Worlds End pay-per-view just a couple of weeks away, AEW could announce several matches on their flagship show this week. Fans are expecting a Dynamite with huge surprises after last week's epic 'Winter is Coming' edition.

Let's take a look at some of the things that may happen at this Dynamite.
#3. Adam Cole could get his hands on MJF
Adam Cole has been wanting to get his hands on The Salt of the Earth for quite some time. However, the star wasn't present in the arena and instead communicated through satellite. Last week, Adam earned his shot for the Dynamite Diamond Ring against MJF after he defeated Kyle O'Reilly last week. Shockingly, Maxwell made his return as he tried to stop The Panama City Playboy from winning the match.
After MJF's adversary's victory on AEW Dynamite, the duo will face each other at the Worlds End pay-per-view. The former AEW World Champion is slated to appear in the ring on the 'Holiday Bash' edition of Dynamite. Adam Cole could finally attack the latter as he will be present on the show. However, it will be interesting to see if Maxwell has any other trick up his sleeve.
#2. Mercedes Mone to be dethroned?
The CEO has been reigning as TBS Champion for more than 200 days. She has had top-notch defenses for the title. However, it seems like she may have a tough battle on her hands against a rising star Anna Jay. She has been pushed to the moon since returning from her NJPW excursion. She picked up multiple wins after her losing to Mariah May where the AEW Women's World Championship was on the line.
After winning against Penelope Ford two weeks ago on Dynamite, Anna Jay called out Mercedes Mone and had a massive confrontation. Later, the match was made official. It will be interesting to see if Anna is able to dethrone The CEO as the former has had an impressive run since the recent return.
#1. Samoa Joe returns to AEW
The Patriarchy has been troubling Hook for a couple of months now. However, the latter has been outnumbered by the faction multiple times. The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil got payback on Christian Cage last week. This week, the former will reunite with his teammate Kastuyori Shitaba as the duo takes on Christian and Nick Wayne.
If the match doesn't go Patriarchy's way, they wouldn't hesitate to attack Hook and Shibata. However, they could be saved by the returning Samoa Joe. He has been absent from AEW since July 2024. A recent report claimed that he may return to the promotion now that his outside project had been wrapped. His return would garner a huge pop from the crowd.
It will be interesting to see if any other returns take place on the 'Holiday Bash' edition of Dynamite.
