Ricochet has been making waves in AEW ever since he joined the company a few months ago. He has been steadily progressing in the Continental Classic tournament and has now advanced to the Semi-Finals.

The Future of Flight has also been turning more to the dark side as he positions himself as a controversial figure. His reputation with the fans also seems to be going downhill as he becomes a heel-ish character and argues over any criticism online.

As he pushes himself further as a heel character, we're here to take a look at how AEW can capitalize on his newfound momentum as a heel.

#3) Get Samantha Irvin to debut in AEW as his heel valet

Samantha Irvin left WWE not too long after her partner Ricochet decided to let his contract expire with the Stamford-based wrestling promotion. Since then, Irvin has been absent from TV, with many fans wanting her to debut in AEW despite her hesitation to join the promotion.

However, Tony Khan could perhaps convince her to join the wrestling promotion on Ricochet's side as his heel valet/manager. The former WWE star needs to add more star power to his side in the company and can build on his heel persona with his partner as they both can appear formally hand in hand.

The former America's Got Talent contestant would raise her and Ricochet's popularity with the fans as well. Perhaps she can also engage more in the company and interfere in Ricochet's matches when he requires some help.

#2) Have Ricochet win the Continental Classic in the most heelish way possible

Ricochet is known for his capabilities in the ring and has been showing his top-notch abilities in the Continental Classic tournament. However, he has resorted to some heel-ish tactics to progress through to the Semi-Finals, particularly in his match against Will Ospreay after he cheated his way to victory.

The former WWE United States Champion is now set to face Kazuchika Okada in the Semi-Finals of the Continental Classic. If AEW wants to draw more heat on Ricochet from fans then they could push him to the finals and then have him execute all the dirty tricks.

If the Future of Flight is successful in winning the Continental Classic tournament using underhanded means such as a low blow, it would draw a huge amount of heat. Ricochet could then come out to gloat even more on his next appearance after winning the tournament, further cementing his heel status.

#1) Have Ricochet feud with Will Ospreay in AEW for the Aerial Assassin moniker

It's safe to say Will Ospreay and Ricochet still have some unfinished business left after their last encounter in the Continental Classic tournament. The two stars would put on another impressive showing in their second singles encounter on Dynamite since Ricochet debuted in AEW.

However, the Human Highlight Reel would utilize dirty tactics to win the match after he pushed the referee to then put Ospreay away with a Spirit Gun. The two would then be involved in a heated confrontation backstage and would exchange insults.

Perhaps, Ricochet could reignite the feud between him and Ospreay in AEW by declaring himself the real Aerial Assassin. We're sure that Ospreay won't take too kindly to this disrespect and the two can fight it out for the right to the moniker.

We all know the matches in the feud would certainly deliver, but a story involving the two giving it their all to be the superior high-flyer would also make for great TV. Ricochet can further push his heel status as he feuds with an established babyface such as Ospreay as well.
