Bryan Danielson seemingly exited the AEW in acrimonious circumstances when he was defeated by Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Not only that but he was later attacked by the then Blackpool Combat Club and was written off after that.

There has been no mention of him in AEW ever since and it seems like Danielson is now a long gone memory. Knowing the kind of person he is, that will certainly not sit well with him and he will be itching to make a comeback in some form or the other.

In this article, we will take a look at three possible ways in which Bryan Danielson could make his AEW return in 2024.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3. Bryan Danielson to become the new General Manager of AEW

AEW has not had a leader ever since Tony Khan was taken out by The Elite a few months back. With the absence of Tony and also the unavailability of The Young Bucks, there is a lack of vision in the company.

Given that Danielson only retired from in-ring wrestling, he could in all fairness make a comeback by becoming the General Manager. That could give Tony Khan some respite knowing that he has someone that he can trust overlooking things in his absence.

#2. Manage Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia has been involved in an ongoing feud with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders and it has only just started. With Jon Moxley not showing any signs of slowing down, someone has to step up to him.

Garcia is the new AEW TNT Champion and that gives him extra impetus to take down Moxley and his gang. Bryan Danielson could see this as the perfect opportunity to take Garcia under his wing and train him to take down The Death Riders. This will serve two purposes, as it will let Garcia get the upper hand over his opponents and also give Danielson his revenge over what Jon Moxley and his gang did to him.

#1. Shake hands with Hurt Syndicate

Apart from The Death Riders, there is another new and fearsome faction in AEW and that is none other than The Hurt Syndicate. The trio of MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are slowly making their mark and it is only a matter of time before they go after The Death Riders.

It makes perfect sense for Bryan Danielson to shake hands with the former WWE stars in his quest to take down Moxley and co. Given that he shares history with them from his time in WWE, there would be no problem in getting them on board.
