AEW is just over 24 hours away from presenting its sixth annual Full Gear pay-per-view. The rumor mill is picking up with fans and analysts speculating on potential swerves and surprises. Jon Moxley and the Death Riders are gearing up for a big night in Newark, but there's increased speculation on Tony Khan fighting back for All Elite Wrestling in a major way.

The Purveyor Of Violence initiated his takeover of All Elite Wrestling a few months back, calling on Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta for their assistance. Orange Cassidy will challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship on Saturday, and young stars like Cassidy, Daniel Garcia, Darby Allin, and Private Party have fought back against Moxley's sinister faction, but the heels continue to get the upper hand for the most part.

There's one narrative that calls for Tony Khan to make things happen and bring in a big name to help the AEW Originals battle the Death Riders. Freshly Squeezed will attempt to shut down Moxley's momentum at AEW Full Gear on Saturday. This will be the third-ever singles match between Cassidy and Moxley, with their last bout taking place a year ago at Full Gear 2023, which saw Cassidy retain the International Championship.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

While Moxley is booked for the Full Gear main event, The Death Riders' PAC, Castagnoli, Yuta, and Shafir are currently free, which leaves them available and rested up to potentially help Moxley retain. Cassidy still has Darby to call on, but Garcia and Private Party are booked for big title matches at the pay-per-view. The increased speculation on Khan calling in a favor to help deal with Moxley has led to rumors on what would likely be a major return, Miro.

The Redeemer recently asked Khan to be released from his All Elite contract. The former Rusev debuted for AEW in 2020, shortly after leaving WWE, but his run with the company has been controversial, and the Bulgarian grappler has not been happy with the way he has been used. Many fans seem to want him back in action, and as a regular part of the storylines, so Full Gear could be the perfect time for Khan to bring back a babyface Miro to help even the odds against the Death Riders.

Miro worked with Moxley and Castagnoli numerous times in WWE, but he has not shared the ring with either man in AEW, and the same goes for Yuta. The one match between PAC and the 38-year-old came at Forbidden Door 2022, where the UK star defeated Miro, Malakai Black, and Clark Connors to become the inaugural All-Atlantic/International Champion.

God's Favorite Champion does have a history with Cassidy. Miro feuded with The Best Friends early in his AEW career, and he eliminated Cassidy from the World Championship Eliminator Tournament in late 2021. Miro once defeated Allin to win the TNT Championship, but later teamed with Darby and Sting to defeat The House of Black. The 38-year-old has not wrestled since defeating Andrade at Worlds End 2023, but his last match before that was a Collision win over Garcia.
