2. Former AEW champion, Jon Moxley, became a father in 2021

While Jon Moxley lost the AEW championship to Kenny Omega just before 2021, he gained something even greater: fatherhood. Moxley and Renee welcomed their first child, a daughter named Nora, on the 15th of June 15.

Jon Moxley has had quite the career in AEW so far, holding the championship and company during an uncertain time in the world. Moxley was set to face Bryan Danielson in the finals of the AEW Men's Championship Tournament. Due to dealing with alcohol addiction and deciding to seek help, Moxley stepped out of the tournament.

There have not been any updates since early December, but fans last heard he was doing better. Moxley will hopefully return to the ring sometime in 2022.
