WWE's Money in the Bank is the next premium live event that the company will showcase following Clash at the Castle: Scotland that took place last weekend. This will be taking place on July 6th at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

This eponymous event is the only one that features the Money in the Bank match, which in previous years used to occur at WrestleMania. In this type of match, several stars compete in a ladder match for a briefcase containing a WWE title match contract of the winner's choice that can be used at any moment in time.

Seeing the various surprises we have gotten during the previous PLEs, could this next one showcase some more? Could Triple H and management shock the world by bringing in some former AEW stars into the mix? Here are four names that fans could be on the lookout for.

#1 and #2 The Hardy Boyz could return to WWE

Both Matt and Jeff Hardy's contracts with AEW have come to a close within the past few months. Just a few days ago, Jeff showed up at TNA to reunite with his brother during the Against All Odds Pay-Per-View.

Seeing as both TNA and WWE seemingly have a partnership taking place, with the likes of Jordynne Grace making appearances for the Stamford-based promotion, and stars like Tatum Paxley making their way to TNA, there could a possibility for the iconic tag team to make an appearance.

The company could pull off an angle similar to their return back at WrestleMania 33, which saw them walk away with the RAW Tag Team Titles.

#3 Jake Hager could go for his 2nd Money in the Bank contract

Back in 2010, Jake Hager (fka Jack Swagger) won the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania that year. He then successfully cashed this on Chris Jericho a month later, making him the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Many fans feel that Hager's run in AEW has been lackluster, despite spending four and a half years with the company. He would get involved with several factions but he never began major title pursuits.

Almost a month ago, it was revealed that his contract had expired and that he had no intentions of re-signing with the promotion, making him a free agent. He could emerge as a surprise entrant for the match, or he could pull off a move similar to Brock Lesnar by forcefully adding himself to the ladder match.

#4 Mark Henry could end up getting involved with a major tag team

At WWE Clash at the Castle, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill put their tag team titles on the line in a triple-threat tag team match. But they ended up eventually dropping them to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.

At Money in the Bank, they could look to regain their titles and call for a rematch. Regardless of the result, a former AEW star could emerge as their potential manager. This could be Mark Henry.

The World's Strongest Man has history with them, with both Belair and Cargill crediting him for discovering them. He could emerge as their manager regardless if they emerge as victors or losers in their rematch.

Should they lose, he could be the mediator that keeps them in check and helps them remember how to get along. This could be similar to the way William Regal formed the Blackpool Combat Club by making Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson get along.
