In June 2024, it was reported that Shane McMahon was no longer under contract with WWE, marking the end of his second tenure with the company. Shortly after, a photo of him having a secret meeting with Tony Khan went viral on the internet. This led fans to speculate that he might be making his way to the Jacksonville-based company.

There is a high chance that McMahon might make his AEW debut soon. That said, here are four stars that he might already be working with secretly amid rumors of his arrival in the Tony Khan-led promotion.

#1 The Young Bucks and Shane McMahon could form a formidable alliance

A few days ago, Shane McMahon had an unexpected meeting with The Young Bucks. Shortly later, Cultaholic reported that both parties were on the same flight, traveling from New York City to Salt Lake City.

Moreover, they were in the same first-class section. Shane-O-Mac was seated behind the EVPs. It was also reported that they were seen chatting. Matt Jackson even shared a photo of himself and his brother standing alongside the former WWE star at the airport.

#2 Jon Moxley

After a few months of absence, Jon Moxley returned to AEW on the August 28 edition of Dynamite. He was interviewed in the ring by Tony Schiavone on the show.

During the conversation, he wished to have a chat with Darby Allin. Before exiting the ring, he said, "It is not your company anymore." Fans were convinced that it was a hint at Shane McMahon's arrival in AEW as part of a potential invasion angle.

If The Boy Wonder joins AEW, he could play the role of an authority figure and even align himself with The Purveyor of Violence. The two stars have worked together in WWE before and could also find success in All Elite Wrestling.

#3 MVP

MVP made his AEW debut on Dynamite: Grand Slam last week. He interrupted Prince Nana's interview with Tony Schiavone and asked him to pass his business card to Swerve Strickland, who has been absent since his Lights Out Steel Cage Match with 'Hangman' Adam Page.

MVP is a veteran of the pro wrestling business. Therefore, Shane McMahon could align himself with the former United States Champion as part of a storyline. They could also work together behind the scenes to take AEW to new heights.

#4 Mercedes Mone

When Tony Khan and Shane McMahon had a meeting, it was Mercedes Mone who seemingly leaked a photo of their private conversation.

PWInsider reported that Shane-O-Mac was seen having a conversation with Mercedes Mone at LaGuardia Airport in New York City on July 1, 2024, while they were on their way to catch their respective flights. It was also reported that they allegedly talked about AEW. Hence, it might not be surprising if they worked together in the Tony Khan-led promotion.
