#3. Matt and Jeff Hardy to return to WWE

Matt and Jeff Hardy have finally left AEW and it was not hard to see why. Majority of wrestling fans felt they were not utilized properly and did not get the chance to work their magic in the company.

Matt has been very vocal about having one final run in WWE and SummerSlam this year could be the best place for him and his brother to make a return. Similar to 2018 when they shocked the world with their return at WrestleMania, they could pull off yet another pop, this time at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

#2. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam is one wrestler that has aged like fine wine. The star has proved that age is just a number and that it has no effects on him. He makes sporadic appearances in AEW and has matches with established stars.

On his social media handles, the WWE Hall of Famer continues to tease matches with a lot of young stars and also potential retirement matches. Having him come back at the biggest event of the summer could be the perfect way to give him a fitting send off.

#1. Mark Henry

Mark Henry is someone that is well respected among his peers and it is clear as to why that is. He goes out of his way to make sure that the talent that is out there get the right platform to showcase their skills.

He left AEW after his contract expired in May and is now a free agent. Having him make his comeback at SummerSlam and potentially be a manager for some of the young talents over at WWE NXT could be a big thing for him and the young stars.
