#2. CM Punk can Serena Deeb can start a stable in AEW
CM Punk and Serena Deeb are on top of their game in AEW right now. The latter stated that she would love to be in a faction with him again in the future, having previously been part of The Straight Edge Society in WWE a decade ago.
The former NWA Women's Champion Champion opened up about how Punk helped her throughout her career in a recent interview:
"I’d love to team with Punk again to be honest with you so. I was really happy to see him [when he first showed up in AEW]... He’s always helped me out. You know, he helped me with SHIMMER... then obviously Straight Edge Society and so, he’s one of the great minds of our business, and we’re lucky to have him," said Serena Deeb.
With their technical abilities and in-ring prowess, the two performers can easily outwork any pairing that AEW puts them up against. If Punk was ever to become a full-blown heel, Deeb could be the perfect foil for his new character.
It might not exactly be an SES revival, but bringing back shades of that messiah-like personality would be compelling television indeed. Deeb can finally be presented as a top heel and future champion as she deserves.
#1. Darby Allin and Ruby Soho can form the biggest babyface mixed tag team in AEW
Darby Allin and Ruby Soho would undoubtedly be the coolest pairing if they ever decided to join forces. Both share a similar fearless mentality and are not afraid to forge their own path in the business.
Ruby debuted at All Out in 2021 and has been presented as an underdog in her short time with the company. She remains immensely popular despite losing two high-profile championship matches against Britt Baker and Jade Cargill. Darby also regularly generates the loudest reactions in any arena he enters. The two stars will make a hugely popular babyface tandem that fans can root for.
