#1. Former WWE Superstar AJ Lee is married to AEW star CM Punk

CM Punk made his AEW debut at The First Dance event on Rampage. Punk had been away from the ring for seven years after parting ways with WWE.

During his time in WWE, Punk got into a relationship with AJ Lee. Both of them were the top superstars in their division at one point. The couple got married in 2014.

While Punk returned for AEW, AJ Lee decided to stay out of the ring and build another career. She retired in 2015, and Punk believes that she won’t be returning anytime soon.

"She's a teenie tiny person, and she's got a bad back. I think the shelf life for females in wrestling, wrestling a full schedule, is a lot smaller than men. She is so focused on what she's doing now, writing screenplays, she's working on a million different projects. ... I think she would probably be maybe receptive to the idea of coming back, but that can't even enter her vocabulary right now because she's so focused on movie scripts and TV adaptations of her book," Punk said.

It’s good to see Punk back in the ring for AEW. Meanwhile, Lee is focused on movie scripts and TV adaptations of her New York Times Best Seller book.
