#3 Darby Allin hasn't missed a beat in AEW
It was only recently that Darby Allin dropped the TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite in a brutal outing against Miro. So far, there have only been four different TNT Champions in history but Allin has already set a record for a historic 186-day title reign.
During his run as the TNT Champion, Allin defended the title on a rather more frequent basis. The now-former champion marked successful defenses against the likes of John Silver, Jungle Boy, JD Drake, The Butcher, Scorpio Sky and more. Throughout his TNT Championship reign, Allin consistently put together some of the best matches in AEW history and almost did so on a weekly basis.
Even before capturing the TNT Championship from Cody Rhodes, Allin kept himself in the mix with AEW's top dogs. His bouts against the likes of Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and his AEW World Championship match against Jon Moxley are proof that the former TNT Champion is more than ready to break into the main event scene.
Despite dropping the TNT Championship, Allin has not lost a beat in AEW and has maintained his momentum. His partnership with Sting is already one that has gone over with the fans and with the The Icon by his side, this seems to be the perfect time for Darby Allin to break into the main event picture.
A potential world title match against Kenny Omega would be a guaranteed classic added to Allin's AEW record.
