The co-main event at AEW All Out 2019 was The Young Bucks defending the AAA World Tag Team Championships against the Lucha Brothers in the Escalera De La Muerte Ladder Match.
This was the blowoff to a marvelous series of contests between the two teams. Their amazing chemistry always created magic inside the ring and this bout was no different.
This was truly one of the greatest matches in AEW history. The spots and high risk action in this Ladder Match were unreal and spectacular in every way possible. The four men put their bodies on the line in an insane encounter. The highlight of this battle had to be Penta El Zero Miedo hitting a Canadian Destroyer on Matt Jackson off a ladder through a table.
The Lucha Bros. defeated The Young Bucks in the Escalera De La Muerte Ladder Match to win the AAA World Tag Team Championships. The fans were quite pleased with Penta and Fenix winning their gold back. However, the moment that took this spot came after the bout.
Masked assailants immediately attacked both teams. They wore masks and beat down both The Young Bucks and The Lucha Brothers. The two men unmasked and revealed themselves as Santana and Ortiz. The former LAX had just lost the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Titles and didn't re-sign with the company.
The acquisition of Santana and Ortiz by AEW led to them joining the Inner Circle stable with Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager. The faction has been the most important in AEW history and has been involved in several top angles.
Santana and Ortiz have put on classic encounters with The Young Bucks and Best Friends. They have made the most of every opportunity and have been an asset to AEW.
