Christian Cage received a unique offer to join Team Taz during last week's AEW Dynamite. This week, Tony Schiavone interviewed Christian inside the ring. However, the in-ring veteran was soon interrupted by Team Taz.

Taz had ordered Ricky Starks and Brian Cage to stay back so that he could secure a deal with Christian. As a result, only Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook accompanied him this week.

But Christian took a shot at the faction and openly rejected an offer to join Team Taz:

“Right now Team Taz is a bit of a dumpster fire. I didn’t come to AEW to help you fix your problems. I came to AEW to win championships. My answer is no.”

Soon, Hobbs confronted Christian inside the ring. Hook distracted the veteran, allowing Hobbs to blindside him immediately.

Team Taz stood dominant at the end of the segment. Next week, Christian Cage will wrestle Powerhouse Hobbs in a one-on-one match. Regardless of the outcome, it seems likely that Christian's feud with Team Taz will last for a while on AEW Dynamite.
