#1 Orange Cassidy looked strong ahead of his AEW World Championship match
Kenny Omega is set to defend the AEW World Championship in a three-way match against PAC and Orange Cassidy at Double or Nothing. This week, PAC wanted to make a defiant statement ahead of the pay-per-view. However, he emerged on the losing end of a scuffle involving his upcoming opponents.
As Kenny Omega was about to attack PAC with a One-Winged Angel, Cassidy entered the frame, handing an envelope to the AEW World Champion. The envelope contained a contract that Omega and Don Callis offered to manipulate him last week, except it had been shredded.

The situation didn't improve for either PAC or Omega, as Cassidy put them down with two Orange Punches and then proceeded to hold the AEW World Championship at the end of the segment.
Although Orange Cassidy looked strong in this encounter, Kenny Omega will likely retain his world title. After all, Omega's status as the world's top belt collector would be in jeopardy if he lost his own promotion's world title at this point.
A three-way match might allow him to win via some shenanigans, which, at the same time, could protect Cassidy and PAC's onscreen credibilities.
