#2 Tension between The Young Bucks and Adam Cole may escalate on AEW Dynamite this week
If the look on The Young Bucks' faces during Kyle O'Reilly's AEW debut was any indication, fans could be in for a buzzworthy feud pitting The Elite against the former Undisputed Era.
Adam Cole enjoyed reuniting with his former stablemate. Meanwhile, Nick and Matt Jackson looked unhappy considering The Panama City Playboy hid the surprise from them.
Interestingly, Cole has claimed that Bobby Fish was the brainchild behind bringing in the Violent Artist. There seems to be a clear pattern since Cole was initially supposed to give a 'Christmas' present to The Young Bucks. It could turn out to be one big ploy with Adam Cole wanting to become the undisputed leader of The Elite in Kenny Omega's absence.
The seeds for a future feud between The Elite and ex-NXT stars have been planted. As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot.
The company could continue teasing dissension between The Young Bucks and Adam Cole this week. Plus, The Jackson Brothers may not be pleased seeing Cole teaming up with Fish and O'Reilly to take on Best Friends on Wednesday night.
#1 Wardlow destroys CM Punk on AEW Dynamite
After suffering a dreadful loss in a trios match last week, MJF must be eyeing vengeance. He could bring his henchman, Wardlow, on AEW Dynamite to dismantle CM Punk.
Having Wardlow in the mix prolongs the storyline between Punk and MJF. While CM Punk vs. Friedman seems inevitable, AEW may save this first-time-ever clash for a big pay-per-view, possibly at Revolution next year.
Until then, The Straight Edge Superstar could face Wardlow in a filler feud. On a positive note, Punk will help bring the spotlight on the six-foot monster, who's touted as the future of this company.
