#4 MJF asks CM Punk to put his career on the line at AEW Revolution
AEW star CM Punk has overcome every barricade that MJF has put in front of him over the last couple weeks. The first-time-ever match between the two men seems inevitable at this point. However, Friedman has been reluctant to face The Straight Edge Superstar.
While The Pinnacle leader may be running short of henchmen to face Punk, he can now start playing mind games with his on-screen rival this week. Given that Punk is hell-bent on getting a singles bout with Friedman, the latter could ask the veteran to put his career on the line at the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view. The Second City Saint would most likely accept the challenge, which would help this feud pick up steam again.
#3 Sammy Guevara becomes Undisputed TNT Champion; Cody Rhodes turns heel
Cody Rhodes and Sammy Guevara will collide in a ladder match to determine the undisputed TNT Champion on AEW Dynamite this week. The American Nightmare has been on a roll lately and would be the favorite heading into this high-stakes match.
On top of that, Rhodes has defeated Guevara multiple times, meaning that the former WWE Superstar has got his number. Despite all the odds against the rising star, the company could decide to put The Spanish God over Cody Rhodes this week. Sammy Guevara is on the brink of becoming a big star in promotion, and Tony Khan may not want to halt his momentum.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes can shock wrestling fans by finally turning heel on Guevara after the match. Although Cody has openly denied turning on fans, it is about time that he brings a change to his character.
