#2 Bryan Danielson vs. Hangman Page chapter II made official for AEW Battle of the Belts event next month
After having a 60-minute time-limit draw at AEW Winter is Coming, a rematch between Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson for the world championship is inevitable.
As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot. The company shouldn't waste any more time booking chapter II between the two stars for the upcoming Battle of the Belts special.
Having them headline the Revolution pay-per-view may make the most sense, but AEW shouldn't compromise the massive time gap between Page's title defenses. He's still yet to have a successful championship defense.
That said, the company could always book their rubber match in March next year. Page and Danielson can come out this week to engage in a war of words that may help set up their next chapter.
Both men broke all possible records with their first-time-ever clash, and fans are already heavily invested in this feud. It will be interesting to see how things unfold moving forward.
#1 CM Punk, Sting, and Darby Allin defeat MJF and FTR on AEW Dynamite
One of the most intriguing matches at this week's Holiday Bash will go down on Wednesday night. CM Punk will team up with Sting and Darby Allin to face MJF, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.
As things stand between these teams, every man will lay their entire arsenal on display to deliver an action-packed contest for the AEW fans watching on. But the babyface trio should stand tall at the end.
Sting and Allin are undefeated in the tag team division. Similarly, Punk has also been on a winning streak since joining the promotion. It would be the right decision to book them on the winning side and keep their mini-streak alive.
Moreover, it will make their rivalry with The Pinnacle more intense and buzzworthy heading into next year.
