Penta, Pac, and Fenix wrestled as the Death Triangle for the first time in a March 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite against Private Party and Joey Janela. The newly formed trio emerged as the winners. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Pac was stranded in his home country for a long time and the Lucha Brothers wrestled as a tag team. Upon his return, two of the three members would often team up in tag matches, with Pac and Ray Fenix challenging the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship.

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley occasionally became allies to fight a common enemy, but the original team of the Lucha Brothers and Pac is a formidable one. If a Trios Championship is introduced, they would be one of the favorites to challenge for it. All three men are sensational athletes, capable of wrestling multiple styles. Pac, in particular, is as adept at taking to the skies as he is at mat wrestling.

None of the three have won a championship at AEW and all of them have a strong case for being worthy of one, based on their stature and performances.
