#1. AEW's Inner Circle: Proud-n-Powerful and Jake Hager
The Inner Circle have been a regular sight on AEW shows since its inception as the most influential faction alongside the Elite. Santana and Ortiz debuted at AEW All Out 2019 taking out both the Lucha Brothers and the Young Bucks after a hellacious ladder match.
Their first victory came alongside Chris Jericho as the trio beat Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks in the main event of the first ever AEW Dynamite episode. The company positioned them as a strong team from the start and the win over big names like Omega and the Bucks was testament to that.

Eventually, the undefeated MMA powerhouse Jake Hager joined the Inner Circle. For some reason, the tag titles evaded the former LAX members and Hager fell just short of the AEW World Championship in an Empty Arena No Holds Barred match against Jon Moxley.
The introduction of the Trios Title is tailor-made for the Inner Circle members as they've been wrestling for AEW from the beginning and have immense credibility, enough to be the first ones to carry the title and give it legitimacy.
