Prior to the Bullet Club reunion and before the ongoing global pandemic changed wrestling completely, AEW announced the introduction of a new match concept to the promotion. In an answer to WarGames, the company was preparing to introduce the Blood and Guts Match. The two-ring steel cage structure was supposed to see The Elite battle the Inner Circle on the March 25th episode of AEW Dynamite lat year.

However, when the world changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, All Elite Wrestling decided to put the match on hold for now. The rivalry between the two stables was blown off at AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 in the Stadium Stampede Match.

Now with the Bullet Club reunion, fans have a valuable unit to re-introduce the stipulation.

This would take a few months to build to, but The Super Elite could prove themselves to be the most formidable faction across both AEW and IMPACT Wrestling. With the AEW World Championship, AEW World Tag Team Championships and IMPACT Tag Team Championships all within this Bullet Club reunion, they have quickly become a powerful group just by joining forces.

Their beatdown on Jon Moxley and others on the AEW roster as well as the upcoming Hard To Kill six-man main event has given them a huge platform to propel to more dominance. Fans could see Moxley head a group of AEW wrestlers or IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann put together a unit on IMPACT. There could even be a coming together of the two rosters to take down this Bullet Club reunion.

There is also the lingering element of Hangman Page as well. The former tag team partner and friend of Omega and The Young Bucks knows them better than anyone and could potentially be the difference-maker in taking down The Super Elite. There are also stars like Cody Rhodes and SCU who have their own separate pasts with the Bullet Club reunion to bring into play.

The Blood and Guts Match seems like the logical blowoff to this Bullet Club reunion where they could meet their first true obstacle as a group. The outcome and potential loss in this huge encounter could lead to another direction.
