"I fired myself this week. Basically, I'm on the market looking for a new job. With all honesty, with all the situation that you talked about, the changes, and with everyone coming out with all the horrible stories, I just felt it was time to give women a bigger platform so I decided to step down and turn the reins over to Thunder Rosa," Cervantes told Duke LovesRasslin in June 2020.
According to his Facebook profile, Cervantes has a few other non-wrestling jobs. He is currently working at Wonderland of the Americas, Youth Homes, and Roy Maas Youth Alternatives.
Thunder Rosa officially joined AEW earlier this year. She recently competed against Nyla Rose and Jade Cargill in a three-way match on AEW Rampage. Rosa came up short as Cargill emerged victorious.
