#4 PAC & Cody Rhodes vs. FTR could emerge from AEW Full Gear 2021
PAC and Cody Rhodes teamed for the first time to pick up a win over Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black in tag team action at AEW Full Gear 2021. The two men didn't get along for much of this contest, but the Death Triangle member pulled things out, hitting the Black Arrow to pin Andrade for the victory. It would seem like the end of their unlikely alliance until the post-match angle.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR jumped PAC and Cody Rhodes following the Full Gear bout. The current AAA Tag Team Champions helped Andrade beat Cody a few weeks back on Dynamite.
It looks like FTR will feud with the mismatch duo of PAC and Cody Rhodes moving forward, or at least for a television showdown.
#3 Sammy Guevara vs. Jay Lethal could emerge from AEW Full Gear 2021
AEW pay-per-views have become known for their surprises this year, and Full Gear was no different. Because this show had a stacked lineup, it didn't need a huge debut. The company instead introduced former IMPACT Wrestling star Jay Lethal as the newest signee.
Lethal is a well-traveled competitor who has shared the squared circle with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Kurt Angle and Ric Flair. He is a star that could benefit All Elite Wrestling and allow younger talent to flourish against him.
This is what made his challenge to TNT Champion Sammy Guevara so satisfying. Guevara is the perfect first opponent for Lethal to have a show stealer with.
