The other half of Tencozy was recently in contention to potentially face Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. At Wrestle Kingdom 15, Satoshi Kojima challenged KENTA for his Rights To Challenge for the IWGP US Championship briefcase. Kojima replaced Juice Robinson, who was forced to withdraw from the card.

Moxley's former rival Robinson, from whom the former won the IWGP US Heavyweight Title to begin his first reign, was originally in contention to face KENTA in this year's Wrestle Kingdom.

However, after suffering an injury in the lead-up to the show, NJPW decided to replace Juice and gave a brief push to Kojima. Despite being unable to beat KENTA, the leader of the Bread Club engaged himself in a feud against Will Ospreay. At the age of 50, Kojima was able to put together two absolute classic matches within a short period of time.

With a successful title defense against Tenzan, Jon Moxley could shift his focus towards the former's tag team partner. Moxley could challenge the former two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kojima to an IWGP US Heavyweight Title match.
