#3 Sting vs Lance Archer (AEW cinematic presentation)
At AEW Revolution, Sting made his triumphant return to in-ring action as he teamed up with AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin to defeat Brian Cage and Ricky Starks of Team Taz in a Street Fight.
This was Sting's first match since his retirement in 2016 after sustaining a serious neck injury against Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions 2015. Despite the icon's physical limitations as a 62 year old with neck issues, the cinematic presentation was incredibly well received as arguably the best match at AEW Revolution.

So, given that The Stinger is officially an active talent once again, the discussion begins as to who he will be facing off against next on the AEW roster. Step in 'The Muderhawk Monster' Lance Archer.
This past week on AEW Dynamite, Sting was scheduled for an interview with announcer Tony Schiavone. After addressing his fantastic return to in-ring action at AEW Revolution, Sting was interrupted by Lance Archer and his mentor Jake "The Snake" Roberts. While there was no physicallity this week on Dynamite, it certainly hinted at a possible match between the two happening in the near future.
Jake Roberts and Sting have history from their days in WCW. Sting defeated Jake Roberts in the main event of Halloween Havoc 1992 in a Coal Minor's Glove match as part of the event's "Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal" stipulation.
Therefore, it would be very interesting to revisit the history between 'The Stinger' and 'The Snake'. The story would help build to another Sting cinematic presentation, this time against Lance Archer at Double or Nothing.
